As part of the practical segment of the 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan, held in Minsk from July 6 to 8, an Uzbek delegation paid a working visit to Free Economic Zone Minsk. The delegation included regional leaders, representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, top managers of large industrial enterprises, and private investors interested in expanding business contacts with Belarusian partners.
Currently, 17 FEZ Minsk resident companies are already exporting goods to the Republic of Uzbekistan. Belarusian products are in demand on the Uzbek market, and the delegation's visit is intended to provide a new impetus for expanding industrial cooperation ties and increasing trade volume.
Administrative officials presented in detail the key advantages of working in Free Economic Zone Minsk to the Uzbek guests, including preferential business conditions and a well-developed engineering, transport, and logistics infrastructure. While exploring the production potential of FEZ, the delegation visited two high-tech facilities of resident companies: Advin Smart Factory CJSC, a full-cycle enterprise specializing in the development and mass production of sophisticated medical diagnostic equipment and integrated security systems, and Alutech Gate Systems LLC, a leading manufacturer of automatic entry and industrial gate systems.

Head of Administration Anatoly Kalinin participated in a plenary session entitled "Regional Interaction as a Driver of Economic Cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan," where prospects for interregional cooperation were discussed. This resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, aimed at developing direct business ties, information exchange, and implementing joint investment projects.
