For the company "Stadler" is the first full service contract for trams in Russia. Starting in March 2018, Stadler specialists will carry out service work in the repair depot of the customer in St. Petersburg. The comprehensive service agreement until 2022 includes preventive maintenance and unscheduled maintenance, rolling stock cleaning and operational support, management functions and material support.

In February 2018, the "Transport Concession Company" held a public tender for the right to conclude an agreement for the maintenance and repair of the rolling stock of the new modern tramway "Chizhik". After considering the bids, the winner was recognized by the company "Stadler".
Recall that in August 2016 in St. Petersburg, representatives of the company "Stadler" and "LSR-Story" signed a contract for the delivery of 23 tramway "Metelitsa" modification B85600M for the project "Construction and operation of the tram network in the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg." The customer and the operating organization is OOO Transport Concession Company.
The unique design and layout of the "Snowstorm", called "Chizhik" by the customer, was specially developed for the city on the Neva. A three-section tram with low floor level and five double doors on either side of the tram makes it easier to board and board passengers. Modern tram cars can accommodate up to 376 passengers.
The first shipment of trams Stadler put in North Palmira in November 2017, the second - in January 2018. The delivery of the third batch should be completed in July 2018.
The first contract of full maintenance and repair for Metelitsa trams in Russia is of special value for Stadler, as it allows it to expand its presence in the market of service.
