Results of FEZ «Minsk» work for the first half of 2020

In the first half of 2020, over 118 million US dollars of investments were received from abroad, of which the share of foreign direct investments is 85%. Foreign direct investment on a net basis amounted to USD 69.4 million, which is 76% more than the same period last year. The amount of investment in fixed capital amounted to the equivalent of USD 50.8 million, with a growth rate of 131% compared to the first half of 2019.

Following the results of January-June 2020, the export of goods amounted to 559 million US dollars. It should be noted that exports to non-CIS countries increased significantly - 185.5 million USD with the growth rate of 127.5% compared to the previous period.

The foreign trade balance was positive and amounted to USD 83.6 million.

In the first half of 2020, residents of FEZ «Minsk» paid RUB 186.3 million in taxes, duties and payments to the budget and non-budgetary funds. This is 17% more than in the first half of 2019.

In January - June 2020, 482 people were accepted for additional jobs by residents of the FEZ «Minsk». The average number of employees of all resident companies of FEZ «Minsk» is 24,425 employees (101.2% compared to last year).
