From July 28 to August 1, 2019, the leading group of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Egypt is on a business trip in Minsk. The group consists of the Director of the Cabinet of the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kashwaa and the Commercial Second Secretary of the Cabinet of the Minister Walid Ramadan. The visit of the Egyptian officials to Minsk was organized on the eve of the 6th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Trade Commission, which will be held in Minsk from September 3 to 4, 2019.
In accordance with the program of visit, the representatives of the Ministry visited the Administration of Minsk Free economic zone. During the meeting the honored guests were presented a presentation of Free economic zone Minsk, investment cooperation issues were discussed and further ways of developing bilateral business relations were outlined.
After the negotiations representatives of the Egyptian side visited the Belarusian-Czech joint venture SOFTFORM, a resident of Minsk Free economic zone since 1999, which is one of the largest manufacturers of cabinet furniture in the Republic of Belarus.
