“A green economy stimulates innovation. In the context of the FEZ, where tax breaks and benefits for the import of technologies are already in place, such innovations become even more accessible,” said Anatoly Buben, head of the FEZ Minsk administration. “The use of green economy principles in free economic zones is not only a contribution to the environment and sustainable development, but also a powerful tool for increasing profitability, improving reputation, and expanding business opportunities.”
The event included discussions on eco-industrial parks and opportunities for industrial cooperation in the context of FEZs, resource conservation and cleaner production, ESG and sustainable development, the introduction of lean manufacturing tools at the enterprise, and other relevant topics.
