On January 12, two enterprises at once - BAZtube LLC and MetalBelMash LLC - became residents of the FEZ Minsk.
Certificates of registration were presented to the heads of the enterprises by the head of the FEZ Minsk administration, Anatoly Buben, during the signing ceremony of the relevant agreements.
BAZtube LLC will build a plant for the production of metal pipes and mechanical processing of metal products with a capacity of 4000 tons per year.
The development of the production of steel pipes, including those aimed at import substitution, is an essential element of the development of consuming industries. Cold-deformed pipe products, the shortage of which Belarusian and Russian enterprises are faced with, are manufactured only at the production site of BAZtube LLC in Zhodino and are unique for the country. There are no similar operating enterprises in Belarus. The implementation of the investment project will increase the production volume of the enterprise and satisfy the steady demand for these products.
The production of sheet metal pipes is widely used in various fields from construction to transport and industry. At least 100 new jobs will be created at the enterprise.
MetalBelMash LLC will organize the production of sheets from hot-rolled coils. The implementation of the project will ensure the growth of the country's production potential through the use of modern equipment and technologies in the project, allowing the production of high-quality import-substituting products for residents of the Republic of Belarus.
Hot-rolled metal products occupy a significant niche in terms of volume among all rolled products and are used in a wide variety of areas of construction, production, and mechanical engineering. Also, industries such as the automotive industry, shipbuilding, bridge construction, fencing, etc. cannot do without these products.
