November 21, 2017 in the FEZ "Minsk" registered a new resident - Limited Liability Company "Cashew Company Limited" for the implementation of the investment project "Production of raw materials for the confectionery and food industry in the process of processing raw cashew nuts." Processing of raw cashew nuts provides for: production of a high-quality core of cashew nuts, as well as process oil and fuel briquette from the nut shell.
By its production LLC Cashew Company Limited is planning to form high quality standards in the market of processing enterprises in the Republic of Belarus. The company aims to take the leading positions in adjacent markets, using the FEZ Minsk regime, and to reach the largest foreign markets.
The commencement date of production is the 2nd quarter of 2018, reaching the projected capacity of 2020.
According to the contract, the declared amount of investments, not less than 581 000 (five hundred and eighty-one thousand) US dollars, for 3 years and at least 69 new jobs.
