PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO AND PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN AMOMALI RAHMON OPENED THE NATIONAL EXHIBITION OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS IN THE CAPITAL OF DUSHANBE.
The exhibition in Tajikistan is one of the largest national expositions of Belarus in recent years.Initially, it was supposed that the National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus in Tajikistan will last till May 17, but at the very beginning of the exposition the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon expressed the opinion that three days are too short a period for all those who could fully get acquainted with the possibilities of cooperation with Belarus and the proposed product range. The head of the Belarusian state agreed with this. As a result, it was instructed that instead of the initial three days the exhibition would work for a week.
Participation in the exhibition is attended by 147 Belarusian enterprises working in the fields of food industry, machine building, manufacturing of industrial and specialized equipment, household instrument making, education, science and technology, innovation, medicine and pharmaceuticals, sports and tourism, chemistry and petrochemistry, woodworking and pulp- paper industry, communications and information, production of construction materials, book publishing and printing.
In the open area there are several dozen pieces of equipment of OAO Amkodor, Gomselmash OJSC, Bobruiskagromash OJSC, Lidagroprommash OJSC, MAZ OJSC, MTZ OJSC.
The resident of FEZ "Minsk" - OJSC "Managing company of Belkommunmash" holding took part in the exhibition. As an exhibit, the model of the E433 electric bus was presented (scale: 1:20; the layout is identical to the electric buses that operate on the Minsk city routes).
The exhibition is organized by the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Tajikistan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and with the participation of the Embassy of Belarus in Tajikistan. The exhibition operator is the Belinterexpo unitary enterprise BelCCI.
