20 March, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexandr Lukashenko visited the Belarusian high-tech enterprise "ADANI", which is one of the world leaders in inventing and implementing innovative technologies in the market of digital x-ray equipment.
Alexandr Lukashenko hailed the computer tomography scanners manufactured by ADANI and gave instructions to continue equipping the country's healthcare institutions with these equipment, BelTA learned.

Last year the company delivered seven body scanners to various regions of Belarus following the order of the Healthcare Ministry. ADANI Company won a tender – their scanners were two times cheaper than foreign analogues. The head of state asked about the specifications of the new equipment and instructed the director general of ADANI to take the project to supply healthcare institutions all over the country with similar equipment under his personal control. “Take the project to supply healthcare institutions with similar Belarusian-made equipment under control,” the president said. “Your company is a Belarusian one, it will be cheaper.”

According to Healthcare Minister Vladimir Karanik, the possibility to authorize ADANI to organize centralized service maintenance of all ADANI equipment (for example, there are about 850 X-ray scanners in Belarusian healthcare institutions) is currently under consideration. It will help save time and avoid continued equipment stoppage.
ADANI became a resident of the Minsk Free Economic Zone (FEZ “Minsk”) in 2010. Over the past years the company has created 545 jobs, invested $38.6 million, including $25.6 million in fixed assets.
ADANI supplies products to 86 countries. These are scientific analytical instruments, medical X-ray equipment, screening X-ray equipment, full height human scanners, luggage and transport scanners. Last year the company exported some $40 million worth of goods. The average salary of the personnel involved in production exceeded Br2,500 (the results of 2019).
