After some time after the first stage of negotiations, the businessman returned to Belarus with a proposal to create an innovative innovative enterprise in our country, the Belarusian leader recalled.
"We created it, it works perfectly, as I'm informed, there is an enterprise load, and the plans for downloading are increasing," Lukashenko said.
The company for the production of trains under the brand "Stadler" was opened in 2013 in Fanipol near Minsk, in the territory of the free economic zone "Minsk". The Swiss brand itself is known in the world since 1942.
Now the products of the Belarusian company are supplied to Russia and to the markets of the CIS countries, as well as to some European countries. According to the owner of the "Stadler", thanks to good contracts and the loading of production, it is possible to talk about further expansion.
"I know that you are ready to offer a new construction, a new enterprise or an expansion of the enterprise. For me, it is very interesting, and I would like to hear firsthand from the first hand suggestions on the development of your presence in our country, "Lukashenko asked.
Following the meeting, Peter Shpuler, chairman of the board of directors and owner of the Stadler group of companies, told journalists about the company's intention to invest about 35 million euros in the development of production in Belarus. We are talking about the creation of a new production of converters for trams and trains, the expansion of the already existing production of car bodies.
Also Peter Shpuler praised the Belarusian workers.
- We have practically built the enterprise in Belarus from scratch, we have installed the leading Western technologies on it. And in a relatively short time is already able to compete on an equal footing with other sites around the world, - said Peter Shpuler.
