Financing innovative projects today is of great importance for the development of high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries in the Republic of Belarus. Without innovations it is almost impossible to create competitive products that could conquer new markets. Indeed, an innovative product is not just a new product, but a product derived from the implementation of scientific research or discovery, qualitatively different from the previous analogue. This is an effective means of competition, which leads to the creation of new needs, lower production costs, increase of investments and increase of a company's image.
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated August 7, 2019 No. 301 On Innovation Projects, some resident companies of FEZ “Minsk” are included into the list of projects that are crucial for the innovative development of the Republic of Belarus.
These are enterprises and projects such as:
- UE “ADANI” with a project on high-technology developments in the field of complex medical equipment, safety systems, non-destructive testing equipment and analytical instrumentation, manufacture of high-tech science-intensive products;
- Scientific engineering center "EnergoTech" with a project on creation of an innovative export-oriented production of energy-saving installations for utilization of energy of excess pressure of natural gas at gas control points;
- CJSC “BELGEE” with a project on production of motor cars;
- OJSC “Borisov plant “Avtogidrousilitel” with a project on creation of a modern flexible automated production of steering units for motor vehicles;
- OJSC “INTEGRAL"- management company of INTEGRAL holding with a project on development of a promising technology for integrated circuits packaging and its implementation in production of industrial, special and dual-use products and a project on development of the production of epitaxial structures;
- OJSC "Kamvol" with a project on organization and development of production of new competitive fabrics.
