GROWING DEMAND FOR BELARUS ELECTRIC BUSES ABROAD

OJSC "Belcommunmash Holding Management Company" is the leading manufacturer of land-based city electric transport in the CIS countries. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko today at a joint session of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic noted the growing demand for Belarusian electric buses abroad, BelTA.

The vice-premier spoke about contracts for the delivery of Belarusian electric buses to Russia and other countries. "There are large orders in the Russian Federation, interest in foreign countries," said Vladimir Semashko.

In Minsk, 20 electric buses operate on two routes. Practice has shown that this allows you to achieve real energy savings. Its consumption decreased by 14%. "This is the transport of the future," the Deputy Prime Minister stressed. It is planned that in 2018 the capital park will be replenished with 60 more electric buses.
