On the first day of the forum at the Dipservice Hall business site, experts discussed promising areas for the development of the FEZ and the conditions for their implementation, topical issues of attracting investments in the current economic conditions, the global trend towards sustainable development and Belarusian practice in this area.
The head of the administration of the FEZ "Minsk" Anatoly Buben noted that this event is an opportunity to report on the work done over the 25 years of the existence of the free economic zone and share plans.
The forum was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration, ministries of economy and finance, executive authorities of Minsk and the Minsk region, heads of administrations of free economic zones, as well as heads, top managers of enterprises - residents of the FEZ "Minsk" and international consulting companies.
Also, within the framework of the forum, a solemn event was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the FEZ "Minsk" and an award ceremony for resident companies for achievements in the investment and production sphere.
On the second day, the Council of Heads of Free Economic Zones took place. Members of the Council paid attention to the development of measures aimed at improving the efficiency of work with enterprises.
