FEZ Minsk Administration led by its management made a working visit to the Special Economic Zone Alabuga (Republic of Tatarstan), which has been operational since 2006. The delegation also included representatives of FEZ Minsk resident companies: INTEGRAL OJSC and BAZtube LLC. The main goal of the visit was to promote cooperation between companies in the two zones, as well as to study advanced approaches in investment policy and personnel training.
During the visit a large-scale exchange of experiences took place. The parties discussed strategies for attracting investors in today’s economy, approaches to integrated territorial development, and the construction of necessary industrial and social infrastructure. Particular attention was paid to creating a favorable business environment and implementing effective public-private partnership mechanisms.
The trip included visits to resident companies and the Alabuga Polytech Educational Center. FEZ Minsk delegation learned about the training practices implemented in SEZ Alabuga. This model closely integrates theoretical training with practical work in the resident companies' existing production facilities where students learn their trades from their first year onward and work with real equipment under the guidance of experienced mentors. The guests were shown the modern facilities and laboratories where future specialists acquire in-demand competencies.
Particular attention during the visit was paid to bilateral negotiations between resident companies. With the active support of FEZ Minsk Administration representatives of INTEGRAL OJSC and BAZtube LLC held substantive talks with specific resident companies of SEZ Alabuga, during which potential areas of cooperation were discussed and specific steps for collaboration were outlined.
The visit marked an important step in deepening cooperation between FEZ Minsk and SEZ Alabuga, opening up new prospects for joint projects and strengthening industrial cooperation between Belarus and Russia. Following the meeting, a cooperation agreement was reached to sign between FEZ Minsk and SEZ Alabuga.
