In January-March 2020, the export of FEZ Minsk residents amounted to $ 285.8 million and increased by 25.8% compared to the previous year. Resident companies of the Minsk FEZ (there are 116 residents now) have exported their products to more than 60 countries. Exports to the CIS countries amounted to $ 202.7 million, up by 17.3%, exports to non-CIS countries rose by 52% over the same period and amounted to $ 83 million.
Residents of the FEZ "Minsk" export a wide range of products from various industries, the main part of exports are electronic products and components, medical equipment, cable products, metal structures, auto and electric transport, railway and tram cars, parts and equipment for cars, electric equipment for passenger cars.
In the first quarter of this year, residents of the Minsk free economic zone attracted $ 70 million of foreign direct investment on a net basis to implement investment projects in the territory of free economic zone “Minsk”.
