BELARUSSIAN-FINLAND ECONOMIC FORUM

The administration of the FEZ "Minsk" informs that the City Council of Savonlinna together with the Chamber of Commerce of the city with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and the organization of business facilitation "Finpro" invite to take part in the VI Belarusian-Finnish Economic Forum (hereinafter - the Forum), which will be held on May 31, 2018 in Savonlinna (the Republic of Finland).

For reference. Belarusian-Finnish economic forums are held alternately in each of the countries with a frequency of once every two years: in 2008 - in Minsk; in 2010 - in Helsinki; in 2012 - in the city of Grodno; in 2014 - in the city of Turku; in 2016 in the city of Gomel.

 The forum site provides ample opportunities to search for new trade and economic partners and potential investors, exchange best practices for business, create prerequisites for expanding and intensifying Belarusian-Finnish cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.

 Within the framework of the Forum's program of events, it is planned to hold plenary and sectional meetings, as well as a cantacto-cooperative exchange in a number of areas of cooperation, including such areas as engineering, agriculture and food industry, telecommunications and information technologies, biotechnology, forestry and woodworking, energy and energy saving , tourism.

For reference. It is expected that the Belarusian delegation at the Forum will be headed by one of the Deputy Ministers of the Economy of the Republic of Belarus. From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the participation of the director of the department of foreign economic activity Sobolev RV is planned.

The term of the trip to Finland from May 30 to June 1, 2018 (including the flight by direct flight "Belavia" on the route Minsk - Helsinki - Minsk). Financing of transportation costs (from Belarus to Helsinki and back), as well as expenses for accommodation and meals, except for the day of the Forum, is carried out at the expense of the sending party.

The expected quantitative composition of the Belarusian delegation is up to 45 people.
