Yesterday, on March 02, the Belarusian-Kazakh business forum and B2B meetings with representatives of the business circles of Kazakhstan took place at the Crown Plaza hotel, Minsk.
Vladimir Ulakhovich, the BelCCI Chairman, Alexander Fedorchuk, the Director General of the Minsk branch of BelCCI, Askar Beysenbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus, Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, gave speeches at the Forum.
Piotr Filipovich, Deputy Chairman of the FEZ Minsk administration, gave a speech and presented the investment opportunities of free economic zone “Minsk” for the honored guests and participants of the Forum.


In terms of Belarusian exports, Kazakhstan is one of the top ten trade partners of the Republic of Belarus and is the third among the CIS countries (after Russia and the Ukraine). In 2019, the trade turnover of the Republic of Belarus with the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 978.4 million US dollars.
The main Belarusian exports in 2019 were tractors, milk and cream, beef, butter, cheese and cottage cheese, harvesters, and trucks, furniture.
The basis of imports from Kazakhstan in 2019 was petroleum products, petroleum gases, coal, rails, cotton fiber, raw aluminum, raw zinc, flax seeds, pipes, tubes and profiles.
There are more than 40 enterprises with Kazakh capital operating in Belarus. In Kazakhstan, there are about 250 companies with Belarusian capital.
