Representatives of FEZ Minsk administration participated in Belarusian-Chinese Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum "Industrial Cooperation: The Path to co-Development" on June 6, 2026.
The event was timed to coincide with the visit of Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng to Belarus.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov and Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng addressed the Forum participants with keynote speeches.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus emphasized key competitive advantages of Belarus as an investment platform located in the epicenter of the region where more than a quarter of global GDP is generated within a 2,000-kilometer radius from Minsk. The industrial and innovative nature of the Belarusian economy was also emphasized. Manufacturing accounts for a quarter of its GDP, not only in traditional mechanical engineering, chemicals, and woodworking, but also in rapidly growing sectors such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, intelligent technology, and optics.
Representatives of the FEZ Minsk administration held a series of meetings during the B2B session with representatives of Chinese companies operating in engineering and industrial park construction, power equipment manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and metalworking.
The Chinese businessmen were briefed on FEZ Minsk, its industrial specialization, and its key advantages. The Chinese partners were invited to hold more in-depth negotiations on possible cooperation options.
