The parties discussed initiatives and agreements on the creation of clusters in Belarus and Bashkortostan using broad measures to support investors. First Deputy Head of the FEZ Minsk Administration Siarhei Bubenka noted that the FEZ is ready to offer the Bashkir side a promising site within the boundaries of the free economic zone for the placement of future production facilities.
"For projects of Bashkir companies on the territory of our country, an exemption from income taxes, property taxes and land taxes, an exemption from rent for land plots is provided," the first deputy head of the administration emphasized.
In addition, the FEZ "Minsk" and the Association of Clusters of Bashkortostan signed a cooperation agreement. The ceremony was held within the framework of the business forum "Minsk and Ufa: twinning - a new driver of development".
The document is aimed at developing cooperation on the creation of clusters and technology parks, industrial infrastructure, business environment and cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
"FEZ "Minsk" has been cooperating with Bashkortostan for several years now, this is an important and interesting region for us. And we are glad that the list of our partners in Ufa is expanding, given the growing mutual interest of Belarusian and Russian companies," said Siarhei Bubenka.
After the official part of the forum, negotiations were held with representatives of Ufa business.
