The goal of the project is to attract Belarusian enterprises participating in investment activities in Bashkortostan, as well as Russian businesses to Belarus.
Its implementation, experts believe, will make it possible to expand the sales market for Belarusian products by locating their production closer to potential consumers, and reduce production costs, primarily logistics. Also, as an effect of the mechanism's implementation, the possibility of fully using the raw materials
and industrial potential of Bashkortostan and building a system of industrial cooperation is noted.
For projects of Bashkortostan companies in Belarus, such benefits as exemption from income, property and land taxes, exemption from land rent and financing of infrastructure costs are offered.
In turn, the first deputy head of the FEZ "Minsk" administration Siarhei Bubenka presented to his Russian colleagues the specifics of working in the conditions of the free economic zone and the possibilities of a preferential regime. The meeting participants also outlined current areas of cooperation.
